Government Sales Manager
Lifeware Labs is seeking a Government Sales Manager to lead our efforts in expanding ProPatch’s adoption within the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. This role requires a driven, strategic individual with experience in defense sales, government contracting, and building relationships with military and federal healthcare decision-makers. The ideal candidate will identify and develop new business opportunities, navigate procurement processes, and work closely with stakeholders in the DoD, military medical units, and government research institutions. They will also collaborate with our technical team to align customer needs with ProPatch’s capabilities, ensuring its successful deployment in combat medicine and military healthcare settings. Experience with FAR/DFARS, SBIR/STTR programs, or previous work in military medical sales is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and engage tip-of-the-spear DoD end users for ProPatch adoption.

Map out DoD procurement pathways and key decision-makers.

Drive sales through federal acquisition programs like FAR/DFARS and SBIR/STTR.

Work with internal teams to align ProPatch with military needs.
Qualifications
-
Experience in government sales, defense contracting, or military medical sales.

Strong network within DoD, especially military medical units and procurement offices.

Understanding of federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS, SBIR, OTA).

Prior military service or experience working with DoD end users is a plus.

Ability to navigate complex DoD organizational structures to find decision-makers.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Self-motivated, able to operate independently in a fast-moving startup.
